Culture

In concert with our mission to design places and spaces that foster community, Elkus Manfredi recognizes the importance of cultivating community within the firm and giving back to the neighborhoods of Greater Boston.

The firm’s IDEA Committee focuses Elkus Manfredi’s efforts in building a more diverse, inclusive, and sustainable culture at the firm. The IDEA Committee raises policy recommendations, curates a DEI speaker series, annually assesses the firm’s progress, and shares its efforts in firm-wide meetings. Simultaneously, the staff-led Employee Volunteer Program (EVP) organizes regular volunteer opportunities.

Technology

Gain experience with a multitude of cutting-edge digital programs and tools. We offer our creative staff access to universal, innovative technology including Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhino 3D + Grasshopper, Adobe Creative software, SketchUp, 3D virtual reality, and digital fabrication equipment.

Our in house 3D Fabrication Team works closely with design teams to harness the power of digital fabrication for customizing and optimizing architectural elements, often taking advantage of high-tech resources at the Autodesk Technology Center right here in the Innovation and Design Building.

The planning and design work of Elkus Manfredi Architects is founded on the conviction that the quality of our environment regularly and significantly impacts the quality of our lives. Elkus Manfredi is a member of the US Green Building Council and is a signatory to the AIA 2030 Commitment working toward the goal of carbon-neutral buildings by the year 2030.
